A small Sydney family. Forty years. One standard.

Jeff started Bartletts Move in 1985 with a single truck and the same idea we run on today: do the job properly, charge what you said you would, and stand behind the work. Shirley runs the office, if you call us, she's most likely the voice you'll hear.

Their son Cameron joined the family business and now runs jobs on the road. Many of our crew have been with us for more than a decade. We move people we know would call us again, and we like it that way.

How much does a move cost?
Every move is different, distance, volume, stairs, parking access and any special items all matter. We give a clear upfront price after a quick conversation, in writing. From May to June we're offering $199 per hour while diaries are open. There are no surprise fees on the day.
How do you handle antiques and fine art?
Carefully and personally. Our crew is trained in-house and has been with us for 10+ years on average. Pianos, oil paintings, sculptures, period furniture, we wrap, crate where needed, and load with purpose-built equipment. We've moved homes full of collections; the standard never changes.
Who will I deal with on the day?
The same Bartletts crew you've spoken with, never a subcontractor. You'll have one point of contact from quote to final box. Most days that's Cameron Bartlett on site, with the team. Shirley is usually the voice on the phone.
Do you offer end-to-end services?
Yes. Packing, transport, secure storage at our Botany depot, unpacking, furniture disassembly and assembly, even taking down and remounting TVs and reconnecting AV. Tell us what you'd like off your plate and we'll handle it.
Do you do interstate moves?
Yes, we coordinate moves from Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Canberra and beyond. Same upfront pricing, same crew loading the truck. We'll walk you through timelines and storage if you need a gap between properties.
What areas do you cover?
All of Sydney, with particular focus on the Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore, Bondi, Bellevue Hill, Vaucluse, Double Bay, Woollahra, Paddington, Mosman, Cremorne, Neutral Bay, Kirribilli and surrounds. Our depot is in Botany. If you're moving in or out of Sydney, we'll get you sorted.
